Total Tools Brooklyn is looking for a Full-Time Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team. This position will suit someone who thrives on a high level of customer service in a retail environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills. With a store-based culture, your skills and experience will be utilised in a fast paced environment with many challenges. A confident and friendly phone manner will complement the existing team who prides themselves on meeting deadlines, constantly being organised and insisting on accuracy.

What will you be doing?

  • Accurately enter and match all stock invoices
  • Processing of all supplier stock invoices
  • Reconciling Supplier accounts on a timely basis
  • Auditing the supply and matching of purchase orders
  • Identify and reconcile price and stock variations
  • Claims processing for discrepancies and follow up with suppliers
  • Maintain the Good Received not Yet Invoiced register daily to resolve discrepancies with the
    store receiving staff
  • Liaise and support the Store Managers and store receiving staff
  • Prepare weekly and monthly payments according to agreed supplier payment terms
  • Attend to all supplier queries
  • Processing and collection of Supplier rebates
  • Cash Draw Reconciliations
  • Assist with Year End Audit requirements and More!
