Total Tools Cairns North is looking for a Full Time Store Manager to lead our local store serving a diverse mix of trade and DIY customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded retail leader who can strengthen the store offering, attract new customers and grow sales.

Working alongside a close-knit and motivated team, you'll take an active role on the shop floor, creating an engaging customer experience through strong merchandising, promotions and local marketing initiatives. You'll help build store traffic, strengthen community connections and drive customer loyalty.

This role will suit a proactive Store Manager who brings energy, initiative and a genuine go-getter mindset. You'll enjoy chasing sales opportunities, developing your team and finding creative ways to grow the business.

What will you be doing?

• Leading, coaching and developing your team to build a positive, customer-focused store culture
• Driving sales by creating reasons for trade and DIY customers to visit and return
• Maintaining strong merchandising standards that create an inviting, engaging and easy-to-shop customer experience
• Developing local promotions, social media activity and community connections to increase store traffic
• Leading from the shop floor, engaging with customers and identifying sales opportunities
• Ensuring the store operates safely, efficiently and delivers an exceptional customer experience

• Proven experience leading a retail team and taking ownership of store performance
• Strong visual merchandising skills and the ability to create an engaging large-format store
• A creative, proactive approach to promotions, social media and attracting customers
• A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, supporting customers and developing their team
• Strong tool or related product knowledge, with confidence supporting both trade and DIY customers
• A self-motivated go-getter who brings energy and initiative, and can work a rotating roster including every second Saturday, with some opening and closing shifts.
