Total Tools  Mcgraths Hill is looking for a Full Time Retail Trade Sales Assistant, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business. This is a full time role and the preferred candidate will be available to work across all store opening hours.

As our Retail Trade Sales Assistant you will be working actively on the shop floor, providing exceptional service working with a variety of customers and team members. With your strong tools knowledge and previous sales experience, you will play a key role in driving sales to all new and repeat customers and driving sales to all customers in the store and beyond. In this role, you will be intuitive to the customers needs, exceeding all expectations, whilst actively promoting the stores products and brand.
 
What will you be doing?

• Working on shop floor actively engaging with customers to drive sales  
• Providing advice and information on products
• Processing customer orders via our POS system
• Booking in customer repairs and dispatching once complete
• Staying up to date with new products and promotions
• Maintaining a clean and tidy store
• Merchandising and putting stock away
• Promotional displays

 Does this sound like you?

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in processing retail sales via a POS system
• Comfortable processing cash and card transactions
• Positive outlook
• Strong computer skills, email, excel, previous POS experience is essential with pronto experience a bonus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Neat and tidy presentation along with a desire to provide exceptional customer service
• Reliable, with the ability to work across store opening hours, (07:30am – 5:30pm) Monday to Friday, Weekends (8am-5pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday) and public holidays when required
