Our new Total Tools store is opening soon in Clyde North and we are looking for a Full Time Store Manager, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

This position will suit an experienced retail leader, ideally within the tools industry. You will be responsible for influencing and motivating your team to provide high-quality customer service, with a belief developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours of your team is critical to success. You will take full accountability for retail fundamentals, including outstanding customer service, reporting, store analytics, promotions, and merchandising standards. This will see you deliver sales targets and other KPIs, while creating a productive, and safe work environment. 

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring the health and safety of all staff, customers and contractors within the store
  • Provide exceptional product advice to customers and staff
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and presentation of products in the store in order to maximise sales and exceed customer service expectations
  • Driving a high performance team capable of delivering sales targets and KPI’s

  • Proven experience in retail sales, staff coaching and leadership
  • A strong customer service focus and competently manage customer queries and complaints
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail and a desire to drive achieve strong financial results
  • Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
  • Be self-motivated and show initiative
  • Ability to drive sales and profit
  • Ability to be available for work across the week, weekends and some public holidays
